Kyle Peddie, Superintendent of Schools
Kyle Peddie is a product of the Liberty County School System. He attended Hosford School and Liberty County High School graduating in 1988. He also is a graduate of Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University. He began his educational career as Guidance Counselor at Shadeville Elementary School in Wakulla County in 1994. From 1995-1998 he served as Guidance Counselor/Curriculum Coordinator at Liberty County High School/Bristol Middle School. From 1998-2000 he served as the Assistant Director and Director of Operations at Liberty Wilderness Crossroads Camp in Wilma, FL. In 2002 he was elected to the Liberty County School Board, District 4 seat and served until 2020 when he was elected as Superintendent of Schools.
Kyle also is the Pastor of Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford, FL. He is married to Hilary (Sumner) Peddie and they have 3 children, Madison (and husband Garrett), Brady, and Evy Jane. He enjoys singing and playing music at church and in the community. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and watching high school and college ballgames. His favorite Bible verse is John 14:6.
